WELCOME TO NEW YOUNG KINCOPPAL-ROSE BAY ALUMNAE

The President of the NSW Sacre Coeur Alumnae Association, Ros Winterton and her Alumnae Committee threw a fabulous Drinks Party on 24th February 2011 to welcome the 40 young school leavers who have just joined the Association.

Joseph and Maria de La Vecchia very kindly lent their beautiful new home in Bellevue Hill for the occasion, and the wonderful party was centred around the pool and terrace. It was a great night with the 40 very glamorous girls all joining together and catching up for probably the first time since leaving KRB.

During the evening, the President welcomed the girls, and each one came forward to be presented with a silver Cor Unum Brooch, which has traditionally always been worn by
Sacré- Coeur Alumnae worldwide. It is instantly recognisable by all alumnae.
(You may notice them being worn at Alumnae and school functions by old girls).

They were reminded by the President that they have joined a worldwide Association, AMASC, which has many advantages which will support them throughout their lives where ever they may be. Ros mentioned that there were lots of good things happening to interest them such as overseas hospitality when travelling and get togethers, and one day they might even like to get married in the beautiful school chapel (take a peek at the weddings on this Web site.) http://www.sacrecoeur-nsw.org.au/
