Report of the Chapel Society by Ann Henderson

  • 22 July, 2009 The Puget Organ is almost completed. Organ builder Charles Henry has to return to France for business commitments and final assembly work will be done by the local builder who knows the organ and has maintained it for several years. It is playing and was heard on the evening for the Procession of the Lanterns.
I am pleased to tell everyone that the last of the 36 musically engraved pipes has been sponsored by The Past Parents’ Association of KRB and dedicated to Miss Patricia (Pat) Gillis, whom many of you will remember taught piano at the School for about 40 years.
You can still sponsor an original 1890 pipe @ $300 in memory of a loved one or whenever you have a Class Reunion, or for whatever reason. This will continue for many years as there are still about 400 left from a total of 680!
