The first Chapel Wedding for 2011 was KRB Alumnae Vanessa Walker(1995) 's late afternoon wedding to Simon Hammer.

The President of the NSW Sacre Coeur Association, Ros Winterton (Julian) was on hand to welcome the guests as she is a cousin of the Bride's Father Richard Walker. The Maid of Honour, Annabelle Walker and 3 of the bridesmaids Olympia Knight, Kate Dunlop and Kirsten Waterman all knew the way to the Chapel very well, as they too are KRB Alumnae, many other alumnae were also spotted in the crowd

An excited little group of tiny Walker nieces and nephews, Harriet , Walter , Hamish and Harry had a busy time finding their way to the Chapel and welcoming Monsignor Tony Dougherty as well as captivating the guests as they happily marched up the aisle. The beautiful bride wore a silk chiffon and lace dress with a long veil and the bridesmaids were interestingly all in different styles of hot pink and and purple and carried hot pink and purple roses and lissianthes, a lovely summer evening combination.
