Associates of the Sacred Heart The Associates of the Sacred Heart are lay men and women who are attracted by and live the spirituality of the Society of the Sacred Heart, With the Religious of the Sacred Heart (RSCJ) they discover and make known the immense love of the Heart of Jesus. This is the charism, or special gift of the Society, but, as several General Chapters have affirmed, " our spirituality does not belong only to us. It is a gift to be shared, a treasure others help us to discover. With them we want to continue to search how to live and express it for today." Foundress, St Madeleine Sophie Barat, had this vision of relationships that move us deeper into personal faith journeys in lives that encourage people to believe that Love is greater than violence and unbelief. Kennedy rscj Our group has been going since 1991. We meet about five times a year here in the above address and share news of the Society, discuss and pray on a theme. For the Feast of the Sacred Heart we have a Mass and in Spring a Day of Reflection, which some visitors like to attend. Meetings are on a Saturday afternoon from 2p.m. to 4 p.m. (including afternoon tea) We would love to
welcome new members and those who would like to come to see how it
goes.
